We use Citrix and we want it geo redundant. So that means that a user must be able to continue to work at location B, if location A fails.
I can think of a few ways how to do it but I don't have the time so I asking you to do it.
If you have your own ways to do it, feel free to discuss it.
I think AD must be configured as multi site.
AD policies and Citrix policies must be in sync.
User profiles must be in sync
Citrix SQL database must be in sync.
Citrix storefront settings, Director settings etc. must be in sync but I think that's in the database.
Maybe Hyper-V replica can assist?
Must there be a backup domain if location can't be reached anymore? Or must DNS be changed? Not sure.
I already have a working VPN between the two locations.
I am using XenDesktop 7.5, and Windows Server 2012.
So I need a fully working geo redundant location with Citrix XenDesktop 7.5.
Hope you can help me, Thanks!
The hardware differs from the two locations. Just so you know.
