I need a full transient study for a 5 km, 4-inch water main built partly in ductile-iron and partly in HDPE. Please build and run the model in WaterHammer and give me clear insight into how the line behaves when the pumps start or stop, when valves follow their normal schedule, and when an unexpected shutdown occurs. My main worries are water-hammer effects, pressure surges and how the different pipe flexibilities influence those pressures. I will supply alignment drawings, pump curves and the valve timetable as soon as we start. Deliverables I expect • WaterHammer model files with all scenarios saved • A concise technical report showing pressure envelopes, critical locations, surge magnitudes and any mitigation suggestions (air-valves, surge vessels, slow-closing logic, etc.) • A short summary slide deck I can share with my client I will review the native model to confirm it reproduces the results in the report, so please keep your annotations and calculation settings clear.
