I need a surface-mount power-supply board designed for a consumer-electronics product. The board will run directly from 220–260 V AC and must deliver a regulated 144 V DC at 300–350 mA. Reliability is critical, so the design has to meet a 6 kV surge requirement, include both high- and low-voltage protection, and achieve a high power factor. I already know the exact outer dimensions for the PCB and will forward the drawing as soon as we start; everything has to fit inside that footprint. Apart from those limits, component placement is up to you. I’m leaning toward standard FR-4, but I’m open to alternatives if you see a clear advantage. Please supply the complete schematic, PCB layout, Gerber files, an annotated BOM with part numbers available from major distributors, and any simulation files or test notes that validate surge performance, PF target, and current regulation. If you see any compliance or safety considerations I may have missed, flag them early so we can incorporate fixes before sign-off.
