Hi sir, it is a safe and easy option to use Peer-to-peer protocols instead of using public IP, if the NVR and DVR support Peer-to-peer protocol. If not it is better to use VPN to prevent hackers from accessing your public IPs. Hikvision IVMS and Dahua Smart PSS softwares could be used to access sites remotely.
