Commercial CCTV Installation Needed

Our IT solutions company has been engaged to secure a commercial site with a new surveillance system. The job involves installing between six and ten cameras, split between indoor and outdoor areas, and integrating them into an NVR so the client can monitor all feeds over their existing network. Scope of work • Survey the premises with me on arrival to finalise camera positions. • Mount 6-10 cameras (mix of indoor domes and outdoor weather-rated units). • Run and neatly fasten all cabling (Cat-6 and power where required) back to a single equipment rack. • Configure the NVR, assign IPs, set recording schedules, and enable remote viewing. • Optimise each camera’s angle, focus, night-vision settings, and motion alerts. • Demonstrate live and recorded playback to the site manager and hand over admin credentials. Acceptance criteria 1. Every camera delivers a clear, stable HD feed—day and night. 2. All channels record continuously to the NVR with timestamp accuracy. 3. Remote access functions on both desktop and mobile without latency. 4. Cable runs are concealed or trunked to commercial safety standards. 5. A completion sheet signed by the site manager confirms each point above. Please bring the necessary tools, testers, ladder, and crimpers; all cameras, NVR, and cabling will be on-site ready for you. The office is accessible during normal business hours, but evening work can be arranged if it speeds completion.
