I already have experience with similar quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and reinforcement detailing projects where CAD drawings are used as the primary measurement source. I understand that the old BOQ is only a reference/template (“Bible”) and that its existing quantities must not be altered. Proposed Solutio I’ll use the current CAD drawings to prepare a completely new quantity-based BOQ while maintaining the same structure, item descriptions and measurement standards established by the old BOQ. The workflow will be fully interconnected CAD Drawings → Quantity Take-Off → BBS → BOQ The Quantity Take-Off sheet will contain transparent calculations for each measured item, including the relevant drawing reference. Reinforcement quantities will be calculated through the BBS, with bar marks, diameters, shapes, quantities, cutting lengths and total steel weights clearly documented.
