Built quite a few similar utilities - stuff that reads a list of inputs, calls an API in a loop, and saves the output in a clean structure. This one is pretty simple to scope out. I'd write it in Python (tkinter for the GUI) so you get a single .exe, no install needed. Logic: load your BNF codes from the text file, loop through each, call the OpenPrescribing spending_by_org endpoint with a direct HTTP request (no browser involved), save each CSV as {code}.csv in your chosen folder. Progress indicator will show per-code status, errors get logged so the whole run completes even if a code is invalid. Full source code included with comments so its easy to extend later.
