I was looking to develop a game in Unity 3D which is a simple top down shooter, very similar to this:

This game was made in C++ and is now open source/abandonware.
Main principle consists of player being an armored sphere that always rolls on a flat plane and competes with other online players in real time and in the similar fashion as other first person shooter games, like Quake.
Different modes of play would be:
Free for all – player with the most kills wins
Team Deathmatch – team with the most kills wins
Capture the Flag – Team with the most flag captures wins
If you can imagine Quake III in top down view, on a flat plane with spheres as players is what this should look like.
Primarily for PC platform (not mobile). If the initial release is successful, further commercial releases will be done.
This will start out as a free game, anyone may just jump in and play with little effort. Paid version (premium version) would allow a customer to host their own game, create custom maps (with a separate map editor), choose from a greater variety of skins/camo or player (sphere) textures, and have access to bonus weapons (lightning gun, mortar, claymore trip mine, and others that I haven’t thought of).This is all multiplayer game, AI only on an environmental enemy, will further elaborate on that later, does not have to be implemented immediately (such as there could be a water stream with a predatory fish somewhere on the map, where a player could roll into and get consumed).
There are a couple of maps that I made to get things going. Also weapons artwork is there. Plenty of music files, menu sounds, weapon sounds, and player related sound effects. You may definitely utilize Unity asset store to acquire further elements, everything doesn't have to be made from scratch.
Time frame to get at least the very basic free game up and running is until the end of August 2014. I am going to be involved in this as much as I can for the remainder of this year.
Please tell me what you can do, what do you enjoy doing the most (art, programming, FX). Experience in Unity is a huge plus. If you are a company, provide your team size and any kind of project which may relate to this – previous work.
You need to be able to talk to me on the phone or skype; just 5 minutes on the phone can clear up a lot of questions and eliminate wasted effort and problems down the road. I speak English and Russian.
