Hi,

I have an excel sheet which has over 2500 columns. Evidently the data is not manageable as it also needs to be used in an sql database.

The excel file is about 170mb.... will dropbox to winning bidder.

Using whatever means or language you like, I need to have the format changed.

At the moment the format is as follows

postcode, year, field1, field2, field3, field4 ..... field2500

I need it changed to

postcode, year, fieldname, fielddata

this would leave mean we plenty more rows, but a lot less columns.

I also need it done in the next few hours - please state time needed.
