C/C++ Graph viewing tool for state machines

I am very familiar with state machine, I design compiler myself for my company, so I can not be familiar with state machine any more. I am also very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the language is c++ under linux. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ scripts which has the same effect, of course garbage collection included. Hello, I am a software engineer with a master degree in computer science. I have spent one year on state machines and automata theory. It is used for compiler, language processors or for any other requirements where there are complex states to follow. The only question I have is, does it really needs to be in C/C++ ? I can work in C/C++ but it will take more time for the development, testing and bug fixing. I suppose there are some background reasons behind this requirement. I am available to discuss. I already have most of a graphics engine complete (in OpenGL, using the open source library SDL 2 for window opening and input, meaning it is cross-platform). I can get a viewer up in no time, allowing me to spend the vast majority of the project's time working on the state machine part. I could allow the state machine graphs to be saved and loaded from files while also allowing them to be altered within the editor. It would also allow you to run the state machine based on some input, letting you step through each current state. All that I need to know is the complexity of the state machines you want the program to be able to handle.

I have excellent C++ skills, and am up to speed with the improvements in the language with C++11 and C++14. I have worked a lot with finite state machines and other similar structures.
