Arduino esp32 c++ programmer | Using a MPU9250 (or BNO055) sensor, calculate vertical velocity -- 2

I have an ESP32 module (hiletgo). My setup is as follows

- OSX

- VSCODE

- platformio

Using this library ( [login to view URL] ), I can get quaternions and so on. (or if you know a better library, I can use it instead)

I am not interested in getting attitude of the sensor, but only the vertical position (meter/second = m/s, max/min +/-10m/s).

I need a c++ function looks like this.
