Objective: Software Component testing based on design & specification
• Prepare Software Module integration test description and execute test reports
• Prepare requirement based test cases, execute them and create test reports
• Peer/Technical review
• Document verification (SwAD, SwRS and Test artifacts)
Educational Requirements: M Tech/BE Degree in Engineering- IT, CS, ECE & EEE.
Responsibilities:
Test and verify the SW modules as per their SIL levels
Apply SW processes & standards required for SW testing
Contribute to the elaboration of SW specification & architecture, in collaboration with the SW architect
Realizes testing of SW modules :
• Resolve testing issues
• Prepares test cases and performs SW V&V deliverables depending
on Safety Integrity Level
• configuration management
Keep a strong link with the SW architect, through the whole SW design
cycle
Highlight design issues and propose / discuss with the lead engineer to identify and implement the definitive solution.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
4-6 Years experience.
Proven Ability to test SW modules as per their SIL levels
Having worked on C/Ada and their related development IDE
Good knowledge on testing tools like RTRT and creation/setting up of TDP
Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing
Good knowledge of testing techniques like black box, white box, Equivalence class, boundary value analysis, Robustness analysis
Good Knowledge on creating stubs, drivers and executing them on Host & target environments
Good knowledge of Static analysis tools like QAC, Understand for C, AdaCntrl etc…
Good knowledge of techniques like flow charting, block diagramming, data modelling, Unified modelling, Modelling techniques (UML,SysML,Matlab...)
Good knowledge of Source code walkthrough & code coverage
Good Knowledge of source code configuration management tools like Clearcase, Synergy, CVS etc…
Understanding of regression analysis
Language Skills:
Programming: C, ADA, RTRT and good to have Scripting languages (Python,..)
Protocols – TCP/IP, CAN…
Standards: CENELEC 50128 / DO178B / DO178C
