My group is evaluating multiple embedded wifi networking solutions. I am looking to outsource code development for one of these avenues now and possibly others in the future. This particular project involves a 16 bit PIC24 microcontroller, a flash memory chip (available but is not required to be used) and the microchip wifi module. The goal is to generate C code which uses the microchip TCIP stack to connect to a wireless hotspot and serve a web page. The content of this web page would be the value of the Real Time Clock (RTC) contained within the microcontroller, and a simple form for setting the value from the web site as well as an alarm value. When the alarm value is reached the microcontroller toggles an output pin a couple times. The actual alarm event is not critical and can be tied to an LED for verification.
A schematic of the complete hardware design will be provided for pin reference. A working example of the hardware is available for use as a debugging target, and a standard home networking wireless router is available for use as a sample network. I will cover shipping both ways.
This should be relatively quick for someone already familiar with the PIC24 and the microchip TCIP stack, and this is the person I'm hoping to find.
Code is expected to be well commented.
Please contact me if you need more information to quote this project. Thanks for considering helping us out.
