Looking for design of an installation program that can be recomplied since specific files vary for each of our clients. This is 100%, a work for hire contract. All source code is our property. A confidentiality agreement will have to signed, prior to any work. This is planned as being an initial product, enhancements will be made to other versions, and we would like to develop a relationship with the right people for a lasting and fruitful relationship. We realize that we are being very vague about this project, but will be happy to answer any questions in relation to this project.
-Check for current configuration
-Install, or change appropriate registry keys after backing them up.
-Install a custom file into a specific directory on a client's PC
-Create a program group for start menu. With a shortcut to a website, a shortcut to contact customer support, a link to start a default application that uses the values that are backed up during install
-Check with a server for available updates.
-Have a GUI configuration interface during install
-Require user registration
-Be uninstallable
