I have point-cloud scans of an existing facility and need complete Scan-to-BIM modeling in Revit. The scope covers: • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems • Architectural elements required for proper coordination I’m looking for Revit models delivered at LOD 300 for the general layout and LOD 350 where component detail and accurate fabrication data are essential. All geometry must align accurately with the scan, follow standard MEP families, and be organized with clear naming, worksets, and systems. Please include in your proposal: 1. A brief outline of your Scan-to-BIM workflow. 2. Examples of past Revit projects at LOD 300/350. 3. Estimated turnaround time for the first draft and final coordinated model. I will provide the registered point cloud and any available asset data as soon as the project starts.

Hope you’re having a good day. I checked your “MEP Modeling, Scanning to BIM” project and understand that accurate Scan-to-BIM conversion with properly coordinated Revit models is the priority, especially for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and architectural coordination elements. I have experience working with point-cloud-based Revit workflows, LOD 300/350 modeling standards, MEP coordination, and structured BIM organization including worksets, system naming, and clean family usage. My workflow typically involves point-cloud alignment verification, phased system modeling, clash/coordination review, and structured QA before final delivery to ensure geometry accuracy and fabrication-level reliability where required.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing the detailed scope of your Scan-to-BIM project. With extensive experience in Revit modeling aligned precisely to point-cloud scans, I understand the critical importance of delivering accurate LOD 300 and LOD 350 models that meet fabrication standards without compromise. My proven Scan-to-BIM workflow includes thorough scan analysis, intelligent family selection, and coordination protocols ensuring all MEP systems and architectural elements are perfectly integrated. To provide the most efficient outcome, could you clarify whether there are specific fabrication detailing standards or preferred family libraries you want us to use? Also, do you foresee future phases requiring model updates or integration with asset management systems? This insight will help me propose a future-proof approach avoiding costly revisions. Rest assured, I prioritize quality and clarity to save you unnecessary rework and cost. You will receive a reliable model within the agreed turnaround, delivering excellent value for your investment and a strong foundation for your project. Looking forward to your response. Kind regards, Dartagnan Marneweck
