I run an adults-only WordPress community that relies on BuddyPress, the BuddyXPro theme, wpForo, and Elementor Pro. Ever since the most recent round of updates, new members either can’t register at all or end up stuck in limbo without activation, so user growth has stalled. The root appears to be a plugin conflict tied to BuddyPress, because turning BuddyPress off clears the error, but obviously that breaks the entire community layer.
