Hi! First, I am not a technical person, so that's why I need you. I have two new food blogs, one in English, one in Spanish, and they link to each other via a menu tab. They're Wordpress blogs using some combination of Genesis and Brunch Pro themes. They just went live last week. They were designed and installed for me by a professional web designer who did what I think is a good job "so far." However, I need some help with some minor things. For instance, the newsletter sign-ups which the designer installed are not correct, and I don't know how to fix them. Apparently, something about how they were configured has triggered a "violation" at Mail Chimp; so my account is still open and accessible but "on hold" till corrected. I have no clue what the problem is, nor how to correct it. Also, the formatting for the recipe plug-in print-out needs a small change, and I don't know how to fix that. There are software updates for several plug-ins, but I haven't installed them because I don't want to mess anything up that I can't fix. I need to change the photograph on the "about" section on the far right column, but I can't find how to access that column. So here's the type of support I need; I'd like to find someone who really knows what they're doing, and can help me with these issues. Then, I'd also like periodic help on an ongoing basis with small fixes, adjustments, software updates, etc. I think what I will need is periodic help with various projects that Freelancer budgets as "micro" and "simple" projects. You don't need to know Spanish for anything on the Spanish blog, I can help with that. I also need help with banner design for social media sites like Facebook, and logo artwork for things like business cards. I really need a fairly responsive turn-around time, and pro-active, responsive communication via email and phone. I'd prefer not to work with someone who is only available by email. I've found there are times when one quick phone-call cuts through tons of time-consuming back-and-forth email. I'm in the US Eastern Time Zone. Payment for work won't be a problem. I'm always happy to pay a partial deposit before work begins, and I usually pay the remaining balance within 24 hours of receiving a final invoice for the finished work. I use Paypal for payment.
