Background Removal (Dark hair on dark background)

I have two high-resolution portraits in which very dark hair blends into a dark background. I need that background removed so every fly-away strand remains visible and natural—no blunt “helmet hair” edges, halos, or colour fringing. The final artwork will be used in print, so the cut-outs must hold up at full size and on press: smooth silhouettes, clean transparencies, and no compression artefacts. Please supply the files on a transparent background. A layered PSD (or a similar format that preserves the mask) is ideal, and feel free to include a flattened PNG preview. Deliverables • Two isolated images, 300 dpi or higher, on transparent backgrounds • Layered file(s) with editable mask(s) intact • Colour profile suitable for print (CMYK or converted upon request) I’ll sign off once the hair edges look completely natural against any test backdrop.
