I need an experienced heavy-vehicle mechanic to carry out a partial transmission repair on my Isuzu Giga 285. The truck is slipping gears, so I’m looking for someone who can: • Pinpoint the worn or damaged components causing the slippage (synchros, clutch packs, seals, etc.) • Advise on—and, if approved, source—the required OEM or high-quality aftermarket parts • Perform the removal, repair, and reinstallation of the transmission without a full rebuild • Refill with fresh fluid, road-test the truck, and confirm smooth, reliable shifting under load • Document all work done and supply a short post-repair checklist for future reference Please outline your relevant Isuzu or heavy-duty gearbox experience, estimated parts list, labour timeframe, and any workshop facilities or mobile service options you can offer.
