Freelancer Requirement Post – Food Delivery App (Unique Business Model) We are looking for an experienced freelancer/team to prepare a complete business and financial package + technical requirements document for a new food delivery app. This is NOT a copy-paste “normal” food delivery model. We require a different, lean, automated, and innovative approach, with a realistic and correct feasibility study covering every possible cost and scenario. Payment Terms (Very Important): If the project is not delivered in the right and correct way, we will not pay any fees — not even partial. The freelancer will have a couple of opportunities to fix and improve the work if something is missing. Only after final approval of complete and correct work will payment be released. 1. Business Plan (Full & Professional) Must be investor-ready and cover all areas: Business Model → Clear revenue streams (commission, subscription, ads, or hybrid). Example: Delivery commission + restaurant subscription fees. Marketing & Sales Strategy → Digital channels (Google Ads, TikTok, Instagram), referral programs, brand positioning. Financial Projections (3 years) → Startup costs (licenses, tech, equipment). Cash flow forecast. Breakeven analysis. Profit forecast. Risk Assessment + Mitigation → Internal & external risks (competition, adoption, delivery costs) + planned solutions. 2. Implementation Roadmap (Action Calendar) Timeline → Month 1: Register CR, open bank account. Month 2: launch MVP. Month 3: start marketing. Hiring Plan → Which employees, and in which month. Milestones → Beta launch, first 100 paying users, breakeven point. 3. Financial Preparation Capital Requirement → Initial cost breakdown (app build, working capital, licenses). Funding Sources → Self-funding, loans, investors, or grants. Editable Model → Must be easy to change assumptions (number of restaurants, costs, revenue). 4. Operational Planning Tools Process Flowchart → Full order cycle (customer → app → restaurant → driver → payment → feedback). SOPs → Onboarding restaurants, refund process, handling customer complaints, etc. 5. Technical Document (For Developers – SRS Style) To be attached to the developer contract. Must be detailed enough to protect us legally: Introduction & app concept. Full feature list (customer app, driver app, restaurant dashboard, admin panel, automation). Automation focus → Registration, KYC, drivers, marketing, notifications, issue handling. Error scenarios → Failed payments, driver cancels, restaurant delay, system error. Marketing flows → Restaurant promotions, item discounts, customer nudges. Payment automation → Direct pass-through of logistics fees, not recorded as our income. Condition: if agreed features are not implemented, we can cancel the contract and get full refund. 6. Extra Specific Requirements (Important) I will share existing documents already prepared — they include the base idea, but I am not happy with them. The freelancer must work with me directly, understand what I want, and improve the model fully. Work must be based on reliable sources only (no generic or copy-paste data). The freelancer must design the starting approach clearly: Not just “start in Muscat,” but specify which wilayat/small areas to begin in. Define how many restaurants we should register at the beginning. Highlight likely issues and challenges that could happen at the start (low adoption, driver shortages, restaurant delays, technical bugs). The model must stay lean, low-cost, and highly automated, with minimal manual work and staff. Everything must be realistic and achievable — no “dream-only” ideas. 7. Deliverables Required Editable Financial Model + Feasibility Study (Excel). Licensing section → Required ministries/authorities, licenses, requirements. “How we start” step plan (Month 1 → Month 3). Business Plan (Word/PDF). Developer Scope Document (Word/PDF). Risk mitigation strategy. Automation-first operations strategy. Localized starting plan (wilayat/small area pilot, initial restaurant count, challenges). 8. Success Criteria (Non-Negotiable) Documents must be professional, detailed, and complete. All costs and risks must be realistic and fully covered. Model must be editable and flexible. Must include real execution roadmap starting from local areas. Must integrate automation-first strategy. If final output is not correct → no payment at all.
