AI Email Automation Specialist

Small engineering firm in Texas wants to automate email system using my Gmail, OpenAI, Make, Dropbox and Trello. Open to better system ideas or other software if necessary. Project: Review daily work emails using OpenAI or Claude. Generate a summary email that is sent to me and my employee. The system should check my email in the morning and evening, summarize any new emails and then send out a report. The report should highlight new jobs and add them to the Trello board if possible. Emails sometimes have pdf attachments and sometimes have links. It would be nice to have Plans downloaded to dropbox in an Incoming Plans label when possible. Would it be possible to have ai check on status of jobs that it has already sent and to mark them off as the tasks are complete in the same email that gives updates on new projects? So far I have tried and failed to make the automation work using instructions from chat and Claude. I have created filters on my Gmail to funnel projects to a certain folder. I believe the next step is to review the emails with Ai. Then create an aggregate email with the results. This is where I am. I am an engineer and would expect this system to be efficient without a lot of costly loops or redundancies since it only needs to be run twice a day. The emails to be processed are a mix of work-related, customer service inquiries, and personal.
