I already have a fully worked-out solar car port concept; what I now need is a structural engineer to turn that concept into a fabrication-ready steel package. Your task is to size and detail every steel element so a fabricator can price, cut, drill and erect without further clarification. The core focus is the integrity of the support columns and their connection points to the roof and foundations, so please pay special attention to load paths, base-plate design and moment connections. All work must satisfy the applicable local building codes as well as recognised industry standards for structural steel.
