I'm looking for an experienced MEP engineer to create comprehensive mechanical drawings for two certified type two hoods located in Houston, Texas. Key requirements: - The drawings should cover the ventilation system layout, detailed ductwork specifications and hood installation requirements. - Knowledge of and experience with certified hood systems is a plus. - The work needs to start from scratch as there are no existing plans or documentation to reference. - Ensure all drawings comply with local Houston building codes and industry standards. Ideal skills and experiences: - Strong background in mechanical engineering, specifically with MEP design. - Proven experience in drawing detailed MEP plans. - Understanding of hood certification standards and specifications. The freelancer does not need to assist with regulatory compliance or permitting. The final drawings should be submitted in PDF format. The drawings should include detailed schematics, component placement, and connections.
