Transcription of Subsea Technology Lectures.
5 hours of audio, suggested bid $50.
I need someone with excellent English to transcribe them to Microsoft Word (2003 version) to assist my class at the University of Western Australia.
I want you to produce an accurate and readable transcript. This means you should not transcribe verbatim but you need to be accurate. Leave out false starts, speaker hesitations, background noises, all ums and ahs and filler words such as "like", and "kind of". Don’t paraphrase - you need to transcribe what the speaker says, not just the general idea of what was said.
The audio is in mp3 format, and is good quality.
I would put money into escrow and release it to you as each block of work (half to one hour) is done.
You don't have to risk doing a large amount of work with the worry of never getting paid for it. This also allows me to check the quality of submitted work on an ongoing basis, and offer guidance and clarifications to you in order to assist with subsequent work.
I'm providing some attachments -
* a Word document with guidelines on my expectations for the transcription.
* a Word template, showing the format of the work you should do.
