Video Editor for Healthcare Podcast Series

We are looking for a reliable video editor for Not Just Patients, an interview-led podcast focused on patient experience and healthcare. Each episode will be recorded remotely, usually on Zoom. The raw interview will run approximately 90 minutes and will need to be edited into a polished 45–60-minute episode. Scope per episode - Edit one full-length 16:9 video episode - Remove distracting filler words, stutters, false starts, repetition, long pauses, and technical interruptions - Keep the conversation natural and avoid over-editing - Switch cleanly between speakers and use split-screen where appropriate - Clean and level audio - Export a podcast-ready audio file - Add accurate captions - Create 3 short horizontal clips of approximately 2–5 minutes - Create 4–6 vertical clips of approximately 30–90 seconds for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Instagram - Suggest strong clip titles and timestamps - Provide platform-ready exports and organised files The editor should be fluent in English and comfortable with varying accents. The subject matter can be sensitive, so editorial judgement is important. Clips should preserve context and meaning, avoid sensationalism, and retain emotional pauses where relevant.
