I run a small e-commerce retail site that has recently implemented the basics of google checkout successfully. I can send a customer to google checkout with the product & pricing info & receive notification from google that the payment was processed. Other than that, nothing. What I need is to redesign my checkout process so my customers have the option to go to google checkout before submitting their shipping info (according to google's terms of service). This means I would need to be able to collect the shipping info that google kicks back to my site, store it in my database under that order's info, also send that shipping info to USPS for real time price processing, and finally kick back the shipping charge to google. Whew! To me this sounds complicated, but I have looked at the code and my own site code and think it is definitely doable. I just don't know enough about it to avoid spending hours working through the little kinks. Anyone feel up to the challenge?
