What I need:
p.s. check out this example:<[url removed, login to view]>
#1. a cms system using [url removed, login to view] with shopping cart. I prefer NopCommerce.
#2. A textbox on homepage that a user can enter a domain and the system retrives its i.p. address, then cross checks the i.p with a provided list of USA based i.p addresses.
#3, if website i.p is a match allow them to purchase a "Site seal"
Once they purchase system generates email or page with snippet for customer.
#4. the system must have a way to check each customers website daily to insure the i.p address has not changed. If it has changes the site seal must dissapaer from thier site until they come back to this website and re check thier i.p. address.
#5. there will be a free and a pay version, only diffrence will be the images used.
#6. the site seal wil be a link with some info built into it however you can that displays basic info like site name and i.p address.
The trust mark is purchased in the following manner:
Vendor goes to [url removed, login to view] and chooses a subscription plan (1yr, 3yr or 5yr). Three and five year plans can be billed monthly. One year plans require one time purchase. Also they can choose "free non commercial version"
Vendor submits information regarding their host server which is cross referenced with the WHOIS database to verify the website is indeed hosted in the USA.
Once the host of the domain is verified and the plan is purchased, they select the platform and OS they are using. They are then provided with the appropriate "snippet" code which is inserted by their programmer or WEB admin on their Main Landing page. If the trust mark is going to be displayed on additional internal pages, such as the cart/check out page- there is an additional cost per page the trust mark is installed on.
[url removed, login to view] performs a daily scan of the vendors DNS and IP address(es) to ensure that their have not been any changes in the physically hosted location of the vendor's server. The trust mark snippet will validate the daily scan by stating: **100% American MAY 15 or VALID 15- MAY**
For example, the trust mark might look something like this: (actual size should be 100 pixels x 62 pixels) or within 10% constrained plus/minus (adhere to the golden ratio)
**Hosted in the USA**
**VALID 15 - MAY**
The trust mark snippet will become inactive if the vendor's registration information changes or their DNS/IP significantly changes and is found to be hosted outside USA sovereign territory. If at anytime a vendor does make a change regarding their host- they will have to re-submit their host information in order to get back their trust mark.
Ok this project is pretty laid out for you. Also included is the list i.p the system uses to cross check.
We would like to start with a "Nop Commerce" base and are utilizing the cart area and members login area.
