Ok, so we have both a regular company website, which needs minimal maintenance. Text additions and changes, and such. Heavy CSS involved.
More importantly we have a User portal we are building. Now, we are coders, not web designers, so we are building functional pages, web services to support back end, and databases. While the pages are functional, they can be ugly at times, and improved upon a lot. (Our jaavascript - ok, ok enough to get the job done)
The right person/or group, will need to be able to work from TFS (Team Foundation Server) as both sites are maintained thru VS2010 and updated regularly by thru TFS. So we all need to be working from the same code base.
You must have, and be excellent with:
o jQuery and AJAX
o Knowledge of Component One controls a PLUS PLUS
o VS2010 - as site is maintained 100% from Visual Studio and TFS
Ability to do graphics, manipulate, create, find... is also a big plus.
Required work will be daily, so communication skills must be open, and easy to communicate with. While this project can be from 1 week to 3+ months, it really depends on your ability, your work ethic, and our developed relationship.
We expect 4-5 days per week, if we have a push or something outside the scope, we can do a separate job as well.
If your fast and good, then should be easy stuff.
Each day a priority list will be provided, as well as bug tracking. So work is layed out for you in our ticket system to complete.
Please bid $$ on one week of work. This will be a set weekly amount.
If your looking for something steady then we are waiting to here from you. We expect you to be available from agreed up times over SKYPE and EMAIL. Interaction between is extremely important !!
Please be sure you have can work with VS2010 and TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER. If you can not, it wont work. (TFS is a free download from Microsoft)
And most important, YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE and productive. We have a lot of work, and need to keep a continued pace in getting it done.
When you bid, enclose a PMB detailing your ability to work in VS2010, whether you have previous experience with Source Control such as TFS. Any bids submitted not detailing and confirming we will assume is just a random bid.
Ready start? We are too !!
