We are looking for a postgraduate research assistant (PGRA) who have experience (and access) to use computer assisted qualitative data analysis (CAQDAS) software (such as Nvivo, [login to view URL], MAXQDA, etc.) for ongoing market and academic research projects.

The research assistant must have experience in working with secondary and primary qualitative data (such as companies’ website, companies’ annual reports, scientific journal articles, memos and field notes, manuscripts, interviews, etc.). Thus, sound understanding of qualitative data analysis (QDA) and academic mixed-method is critical.

This is a pilot task to help identify a skillful research assistant. The research assistant must work (WFH) with one of our lead researchers via an online collaborative work-platform. This helps us to seemingly track the work processes, continuously assess the skill set of researchers and make sure on time delivery of the project.

Generally, the tasks of research assistant are:

Searching secondary sources of data: to collect relevant information and documents through advance search of databases (e.g., google, google scholar, Scopus, Web of Science).

Storing and Coding data: to perform different forms of coding such as keyword and text coding (to systematically code data in different formats and categories).

Data Linking: to form clusters, networks or categories of data.

Data Mapping: to map data to support theories and depict findings.

Data visualization and sense-making: to professionally visualize and report the results of data analyses via advance tables, figures, models and writing discussions.

This task is only open to those with Master or PhD degrees in the field of business logistics, operation and supply chain Management, industrial management and engineering with focus on the Sustainability subjects.

PhD students (second year and above) are most welcome for this project.

The research assistant must have professional or near native command of English with academic writing skills who can deliver tasks with less than 8% Plagiarism).

This pilot task is short and must be delivered within 5-6 days. Please let us know if you know any potential candidate who’s interested and available to start this task ASAP.
