FOOD & HUNGER FOCUSED WEBSITE/ BLOG WRITER

POSITION
We are looking for skilled and creative writers to provide content for a website focused on hunger issues. The site discusses important issues around hunger and highlights people and organizations doing laudable work to help eradicate hunger globally. Given the current climate, some articles will focus on hunger issues that are created or exacerbated by the COVID-19 outbreak. When you respond to this posting, please provide (or link to) an example of your previous work. We will not consider any applicants who fail to follow this instruction.
REQUIREMENTS
- Writing articles of 750-1000 words based on an outline provided by the site owner.
- Providing work product that is reasonably free from typos, copied and unattributed (read: plagiarized) material, and formatting errors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Native English speaker
- Excellent skills using Microsoft word
- Understanding of the need for a fun, yet informative tone to keep the audience engaged when discussing issues surrounding hunger
- A love of food and concern about the global hunger crisis
COMPENSATION
The compensation for this position is $20 per post (750 - 1000 words). The stated budget of $500 is therefore assuming 25 post, though writers will be paid per post.
