I need some articles done on a youtube chess commentary channel.
The channel has at this point around 230 [url removed, login to view] are many videos with several parts, I estimate the number of different games/strategy videos that need an article to around 140.
There are 3 different video types:Games, openings (including traps) + endgame studies and "other" videos:
A step by step breakdown:
1)Go thorugh all videos and create an index of [url removed, login to view] the information in a spreadsheet including youtube link(for several parts links to all parts) and game type(one of the 3 above) and name.
If its a game include white player name and black player name and a link to the game on [url removed, login to view](can be done with a quick google search, but many players have played several games against each other, make sure it is the correct one by clicking a time in the video where the position of the chess pieces is unique and compare it to the board shown, providng wrong links here is a reason for partial payment refusal)
If it is an opening or endgame provide the link to wikipedia article(google).
After you made the index we will review it and if it passes as complete you go on to the second step.
2)Write articles for all games, opening+endgames and some of the "other" videos.
200-250 words each.
Game videos should include short introduction of both players (many players will be featured in several videos, the introduction for them can be similar but not generaly the same), the game setting (which tournament and city, their relationship to one another and other important facts of the game).
Here is an example of what is the minmum of information to be provided, taken from wikipedia (obviously you cannot copy paste, the text is copy pasted the second paragraph has some redundant information and grammar):
"Deep Blue – Kasparov, 1996, Game 1 is a famous chess game in which a computer played against a human being. It was the first game played in the 1996 Deep Blue versus Garry Kasparov match, and the first time that a chess-playing computer defeated a reigning world champion under normal chess tournament conditions (in particular, normal time controls).
Deep Blue was a computer developed by IBM to beat grandmaster Garry Kasparov, the top chess player in the world at the time according to Elo ratings. Playing White, Deep Blue won this first game in the match on February 10, 1996 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kasparov rebounded over the next five games, winning three and drawing two, to soundly beat the machine in the 1996 match."
The articles should be seo for the players names and in some cases for the event (world championship 1990 for example).
The application and payment process:
You provide a sample article on this game [url removed, login to view] and send it as a pm (as text, dont add a .doc,200-250 words) to [url removed, login to view] include links to other previous works/portfolio.
When I have choosen you as the freelancer you create the index, after it is created (with adjustments to my demands) you receive a first milestone of 20$.
Based on the index we will determine the total amount of articles to be written, you will get paid 80$ regardless of that number on completition and after a week time for me to review all [url removed, login to view]$ total budget, people bidding lower will be prefered with same qualification.
