Hi, I'm looking to connect with a professional writer. I previously worked with another writer who created a bunch of articles for my logo/graphic design blog. Overall the articles are pretty good, but they always have room for improvement.
Overall I tend to strive for:
- Professional (yet personable)
- Easy to Read
- Funny (when applicable... I'm open to incorporating gifs when deemed fit, but this isn't required)
To get a feel for my my preferred writing style/voice, can check one of the currently published articles here - [login to view URL]
You will have the freedom to revise the article however you see fit. Feel free to remove/rework sentences or even entire paragraphs, improve grammar, etc. As long as the article is to the point and reads well, that's all that matters.
Below I'm attaching 2 paragraphs from the next article I have to work on. If you'd be willing to provide a quick sample, this is the best way for me to determine who is a great fit for this project. The article is about Branding.
Are you working to build a new brand or refining your current brand? Understanding how to work with branding and develop strong branding guidelines for your business is one of the keys to success as a company. Branding is the creation and development of every visual and language element that relates to your company.
When people think of your brand, they think of your “branding elements.” These elements include aspects of your branding such as your logo design, your color palette, your iconography, your patterns, your typical visuals, and your messaging or brand language. When you represent your brand through “branding,” it means that you are consistent with how you represent your brand. It makes it easy for consumers to remember who you are and what you stand for, and to associate the right qualities with your brand.
Please bid for just (1) 2000 word article, but also include in your private message how much you would charge for a larger order (for example, 10 articles). All of the articles I have available for editing are all right around 2000 words. I'm not worried about the final word count, if some of these articles benefit from removing some of the "fluff" that's totally fine and welcomed.
Please feel free to ask me any questions and I'd be happy to discuss further.
