Hey there, I would love to be able to help you out with this project, especially given its proximity to projects I’ve worked on in the past. I have extensive experience working with wood and have completed a number of artistic pieces in dated styles utilizing specifically medieval stylistic techniques and designs. I began working with that style years ago in tandem with a lot of the blacksmithing commissions I receive that involve making custom swords and shields, often involving a painted shield. I don’t have a portfolio at the moment but I would be more than happy to send you photos of past works to look at.
