I have a little home automation project that I'd like to make happen, but have come to realise that I need a leg up with learning to use Arduino.
Using an arduino Mega with wifi ([login to view URL]) or a Raspberry Pi 4 (as these are what I have currently avaiable, and a set of current transformer sensors ([login to view URL]), I want to measure the power coming into our meterboard from our rooftop solar, and out of our meterboard towards the grid.
Power is three phase, so 6 clamps total.
Based on the amount of surplus electricity available, I'd like to turn on or off a number of wifi connected sonoff switches ([login to view URL]) that would control power to various loads around the house.
Or, if sonoffs don't work well, then ask another wifi connected arduino to toggle a relay to do the same.
Finally, display on a simple webpage graphic: power being generated, power being consumed and current state of the relays.

I have worked on home automation and I have one in my home installed. Although I used node MCU instead of arduino or ERaspberry PI as it is cheap but efficient for realtime environment.
