I am contacting you regarding a residential renovation project. We have submitted a BCMS Commencement Notice (Opt-Out) and have received a request from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Building Control for Construction Issue structural documentation. As our builder is not able to provide structural design documentation, we are seeking a structural engineer to assist with the essential structural package required for commencement. Our builder is fully available and will cooperate throughout the process, including providing access to site and any required information. Project scope includes: • Attic conversion (habitable bedroom + ensuite) • Hip-to-gable conversion • Rear dormer • Two roof windows • Single-storey rear extension We would like to request a quote for the following deliverables: • Structural calculations • Steel beam schedule / beam sizing • Joist/framing notes for attic conversion and dormer • Any essential structural sketches/details required to support the above Could you please advise: 1.
