Yahoo doesn't expose ROCE directly — it has to be derived from EBIT over capital employed off the balance sheet. I'd fetch fundamentals on a weekly cycle and cache them, while prices refresh daily. Same output, a fraction of the API calls. Alpha Vantage's free tier is 25 requests per day. If your ticker list is longer than that, the script fails on day one. Yahoo has no hard cap and is the safer primary, with throttling and retry built in. So: how many tickers, and which exchange? NSE symbols need different handling from US ones.
