Salla–Shgardi Checkout Integration

Objective Enable seamless integration between Salla-hosted eCommerce businesses and Shgardi logistics services, allowing end users to opt for Shgardi as a delivery partner during checkout. This unlocks new demand pipelines from merchants already hosted on Salla and drives order volume to Logista. --- Key Goals * Enable businesses on Salla to integrate Shgardi as a logistic partner. * Introduce new order type: logista_salla to distinguish and handle orders via Salla checkout flow. * Allow end-customers to choose Shgardi as their delivery partner during checkout. * Ensure full compatibility with the existing Logista order management system, including order lifecycle, courier assignment, tracking, and cash collection. --- Users & Stakeholders * End Users (B2C): Customers shopping from stores built on Salla. * Partners (Stores on Salla): Sellers who opt to use Shgardi for deliveries. * Operations & Drivers: Handle fulfillment, assignment, cash collection, etc. * Salla Platform: External system initiating the order. --- Flow Overview 1. Customer adds items to cart on a partner’s Salla-built website. 2. At checkout, the system determines available delivery partners: * If only Shgardi is integrated → automatically selected. * If multiple delivery partners exist → user chooses Shgardi manually. 3. Order details and customer data are shared with Shgardi via API. 4. Order is created in Shgardi system with order type logista_salla. 5. Shgardi assigns a courier based on standard logic (auto/manual). 6. Order is fulfilled as per Logista’s regular flow (pickup > delivery > optional cash collection). --- Technical Requirements API Integration * Webhook/Callback from Salla when order is confirmed. * Authenticated POST to Shgardi Order API to create order: * Order type: logista_salla * Payload includes: * Pickup location * Drop-off location * Item details (optional) * Customer contact details * Delivery fee (paid/unpaid) * Payment method (Cash/Card/Prepaid) Order Lifecycle Support * Compatible with standard Logista order lifecycle: * Assigned * Picked * In Transit * Delivered * Cancelled / Rejected Cash Handling * Driver collects payment (if Cash on Delivery is selected). * Reflected in partner's dashboard and finance module. --- New Data Point * order_source: "salla" * order_type: "logista_salla" --- Metrics to Track * Number of logista_salla orders per day/week * Average delivery time * Driver acceptance rate * Order cancellation or rejection rate * NPS/feedback from customers using Salla integration --- Edge Cases * Store disables Shgardi after integration → fallback to alternate logistic partners. * Order rejected by partner after Salla order → notification back to customer via Salla's system. * Address/phone missing or invalid → fail the order with proper logs and callback. --- Outcomes * Reduce partner reliance on multiple platforms. * Centralize fulfillment for Salla stores under Shgardi. * Bring in net-new demand from Salla eCommerce ecosystem. * Prepare the system for more plug-and-play integrations with other eCommerce CMSs (e.g., Zid, Shopify, WooCommerce). --- Enhancement: WhatsApp Notification + App Onboarding Funnel Use Case Once the order is placed and processed via Salla: * End customers receive a WhatsApp notification with: * Basic order summary * Tracking link (optional webview) * A CTA to download the Shgardi app: "Track your order in real-time and unlock faster reorders. [Download App]" This helps: * Increase user trust with real-time updates * Improve app adoption (converting anonymous Salla customers into registered users) * Create a soft lead funnel to onboard future direct B2C users
