Student Information System Development

I want to commission a purpose-built student information system that keeps our daily data flow organised and accessible for staff, students, and parents alike. At a minimum the platform must include: • Student enrollment – a straightforward interface for creating and updating student records, class assignments, and demographic details. • Grades tracking – teachers need to enter assessments quickly while administrators can generate class, term, and whole-school reports. • Parent communication – a secure portal or automated email/SMS notifications that keep families in the loop about progress and key events. I have not yet decided whether we will plug this into our current software stack or launch it standalone, so please design with integration hooks in mind (API endpoints or import/export tools) and be ready to advise on best practices. Deliverables should include the working application, source code, basic user documentation, and a brief hand-over session so my team can manage routine tasks without outside help. Security, data privacy, and a clean, intuitive UI are non-negotiable. I’m open to the tech stack you are most comfortable with—common choices like Laravel, Django, Node.js or similar are all fine as long as they remain maintainable.
