Shopify to Smiirl Daily Orders

I have a Smiirl “Compteur de ventes” on my wall and I’d like it to roll up the exact number of orders my Shopify store receives each day—nothing more, nothing less. The device polls a single HTTP / HTTPS endpoint and expects a clean JSON payload; once that payload is well-formed, the counter will do the rest. What I need from you is a small integration that: • Authenticates to my Shopify store through the Admin API (private app or token, whichever you prefer). • Counts every order created between 00:00 and 23:59 in my store’s timezone. • Responds to the Smiirl request with a JSON body that contains only that daily order count, in the syntax required by Smiirl. • Resets automatically at midnight so the next day starts from zero. • Can be hosted on a lightweight, low-maintenance service (serverless function, tiny VPS, or similar). I’m open to suggestions as long as it remains reliable. Acceptance criteria 1. A public endpoint URL I can drop into the Smiirl dashboard. 2. When I place test orders, the counter updates within the polling window set by Smiirl and always shows the correct total for the current day. 3. Clear, step-by-step deployment instructions (or a one-click deploy) so I can recreate the setup if needed. 4. Source code and any environment variables documented. Feel free to build it in Node.js, Python, or any language you like—just keep the footprint small and the response fast. If you’ve connected Smiirl counters before or have Shopify webhook/API experience, that’s a definite plus.
