Django-Powered Inventory Management Tool

I’m looking for a developer to build a small, easy-to-use web application for managing products. The tool should allow me to add, edit, and view products through a simple interface, with a basic search function. In addition, I’d like a JSON endpoint that can provide the product list for future integrations. Core Features: - Product list page with a searchable table (by SKU and name). - “Add Product” form with fields for SKU (unique), name, and price (no negative values allowed). - Admin panel for managing products (add/edit/view). - JSON endpoint to return the full product list. - Local database (SQLite is fine). Requirements: - Built with Python/Django. - Easy setup with step-by-step instructions. - [login to view URL] file for dependencies. - Should run on a regular computer without paid services. - (Optional) Small demo dataset (2–3 products) for testing. Success Criteria: - Admin panel works as expected. - Product list and search function available on the home page. - “Add Product” page validates input and shows clear error messages. - JSON endpoint returns the correct product data. - Setup instructions allow the project to run from scratch on a clean machine. Nice to Have: - Basic Bootstrap styling for a clean layout. - A couple of simple automated tests (e.g., product creation, JSON endpoint).
