I need a production-ready Warehouse Management System that covers the full life-cycle of inventory from receipt to shipping. The platform must track stock in real time, guide efficient order picking and packing, and generate the documents and carrier labels required at dispatch. Tight, reliable links with the rest of my tech stack are critical. The WMS has to exchange data seamlessly with our ERP, push live availability and order statuses to our e-commerce storefronts, and stay synchronised with broader supply-chain tools so purchase orders, ASN’s, and carrier events flow automatically. API endpoints or standard connectors to achieve this are essential. Key deliverables • Web-based WMS application with user, role, and location management • Core modules: inventory tracking, order fulfillment workflow, inbound shipping & receiving • Bi-directional integration bridges for ERP, e-commerce, and supply-chain systems (REST or SOAP; flat-file fallback acceptable) • Dashboard and reporting suite (stock accuracy, ageing, pick accuracy, OTIF) • Source code, deployment scripts, and concise technical documentation Acceptance criteria • All listed functions demonstrable in a staging environment with sample data • Data exchanged with at least one ERP and one e-commerce sandbox in real time • Zero critical bugs during a five-day test run; no workflow may dead-end a user Hand-off should include instructions for on-premise or cloud deployment and a quick-start guide for operators. Let’s agree milestones for architecture, MVP, integrations, QA, and final go-live so we both stay on schedule.

Real-time stock becomes unreliable when ERP, storefront, and carrier events arrive twice or out of order. I’d first map each system, data owner, warehouse flow, and integration contract before locking the architecture. Idempotent event handling, audit logs, retries, and reconciliation will prevent duplicate receipts, orders, and carrier updates. Receiving, allocation, picking, packing, and dispatch will each have explicit states so no operator reaches a dead end. Staging will include sample data, one ERP sandbox, one storefront sandbox, and the required five-day test run. Within three days, I’ll deliver the architecture, workflow model, API plan, and MVP backlog as the first milestone. Which ERP, storefronts, carriers, and supply-chain tools must the first integration milestone support?

A WMS earns its money in the picking flow — if a picker needs more than a glance per line, throughput drops and the system gets bypassed. So I would design that screen first and the rest around it. How I would build it: - Receipt → putaway → stock → pick/pack → dispatch as one state machine, with stock movements recorded so inventory is always reconstructable - Guided picking (route through the warehouse, scan confirmation), packing with document and carrier label generation - Integrations as first-class parts: ERP sync, live availability pushed to the storefronts, order status back — with retries and a visible failure log rather than silent drift - Real-time stock, but reconciled: a nightly check that flags discrepancies instead of hiding them Proof: I built warehouse and pallet-account tooling plus a B2B shop for a food wholesaler — 18 services in daily production use, with ERP data flowing between them. Which ERP and which storefront platform, and are you using barcode scanners or phones? Those three decide the architecture. Happy to plan it in phases. Martin

Hi, I’d approach a WMS that ties real-time stock to ERP and e-commerce with careful data integrity and clear hand-offs to carriers. I’ve done similar inventory and fulfillment workflows for mid-market ERP integrations, focusing on predictable ship- and dock-side operations. Execution approach: I’d start by validating the current data flows, identify unstable points, then implement a minimal end-to-end path and validate with live usage patterns. One technical risk / key challenge: Real-time reconciliation across systems can drift under load unless clocks are synchronized and updates are idempotent. Two clarification questions What should happen if records drift between ERP and WMS during peak periods, and how should reconciliations be surfaced to operators? Which ERP and storefront sandboxes will we connect first, and what deployment model and data residency are required? If we're aligned, I’d be happy to walk you through the implementation plan before we get started. Best regards, Brandon

Hi, The riskiest part here is not the WMS modules, it's the bi-directional sync. Real-time stock accuracy breaks the moment ERP and storefront disagree, so I'd want to know if your ERP exposes REST or if we're falling back to flat-file with a polling interval. That decision shapes the whole integration layer. We've done heavy backend and integration work before, including a Laravel and Vue platform with queued jobs and Redis for live data flows, plus secure deterministic ingestion pipelines with CI. That last one taught us how to keep syncs idempotent so retries never double-count stock. SecurePipeline: 5★, $1400, deterministic ingestion with CI. I'd suggest we lock architecture as milestone one before any module work. Which ERP are you running? Adil

Hi, your WMS needs to cover the full flow from receiving to dispatch, while staying tightly connected to ERP, e-commerce, and supply-chain systems. I’d build it around real-time inventory movement, guided picking and packing, and reliable label/document generation so operators never hit a dead end. I’ve worked on web platforms with role-based access, warehouse workflows, REST and SOAP integrations, and reporting dashboards for stock and fulfillment metrics. For this project, I’d focus first on the core warehouse logic, then add integration bridges for ERP and storefront sync, followed by staging validation with sample data and test cases for OTIF, pick accuracy, and stock accuracy. You’ll get source code, deployment scripts, and clear hand-off notes for cloud or on-premise use. I’d be glad to help define the milestones and deliver this in a controlled rollout. Best regards, Gabriel

Your warehouse needs real-time stock tracking from receipt to dispatch plus seamless ERP and e-commerce sync, and that is exactly what I build: a web-based WMS with user, role, and location management, guided pick-pack workflows, and carrier label generation at dispatch. My approach: (1) architect the core in Laravel or Node with React dashboards covering inventory, inbound receiving, and order fulfillment; (2) build bi-directional REST and SOAP integration bridges with flat-file fallback so ASNs, purchase orders, and carrier events flow automatically between your ERP and storefronts; (3) deliver reporting for stock accuracy, ageing, pick accuracy, and OTIF, plus deployment scripts and operator quick-start docs. I will structure the build around your five milestones: architecture, MVP, integrations, QA, and go-live, validating each in staging with sample data against your ERP and e-commerce sandboxes. Which ERP and storefront platforms are you running? Let us set the milestone schedule this week. Albert

==== Hi - Truong here ==== "QML EMBEDDED LINUX INTERFACE" — you need a clean Qt Quick UI that feels right on the target device. I’d keep the UI in reusable QML components, with C++ handling device logic and data. That keeps visual changes fast without risking the embedded backend. Which embedded Linux board/display and Qt version are you targeting? Looking forward to work with you.
