need an answer to the following questions: 1. == I have a fairly large web application written in PHP. Several features will be require changes in the next future. As I spent a lot of money to build the application, I am worried with giving out all the source to external coders. Need to find a way to give out only part of the application in clear : i.e. the part that needs to be changed All the other parts should be compiled/obfuscated in some way. Is that possible ? 2. == can a PHP file interact with a SO library which was coded in a different language ? 3. == can PHP modules and Ruby-On-Rail modules interact ? I plan to switch from PHP to Ruby. Is it possible to start writing the new modules in Ruby ? Can these modules be called from a menu that is shown in a PHP module ?
