Hand-clapping animation for Maya character

We need 2 hand-clapping animations for a Maya character; one for a slower beat (70 bpm), and one for a faster beat (95 bpm). The character is fully rigged. 2 sound files (containing the 2 different beats) are available. The clapping needs to be exactly to these beats! Each animation should last for 1 minute. While clapping the character should also move its shoulders and hips a bit with the rhythm. It doesn't need to be a complex animation, it should just look natural.
