Android App Payment Gateway Integration

I need to push a new release of my existing Android application through Google Play Console that introduces a fully functional payment gateway. The current build is live and stable; this update is strictly about adding the new functionality while keeping everything else unchanged. Here’s the scope in plain terms: integrate a secure, production-ready payment solution (Stripe or a comparable gateway that meets Play Store policy and PCI requirements), wire it into the existing checkout screen, and prepare the signed AAB ready for rollout in the Play Console. The flow must support one-time payments today, but the code should be structured so I can extend it to subscriptions later. Deliverables • Updated project source with clean, well-commented payment module • Release-ready AAB plus a debug build for testing • Step-by-step notes on any Play Console configuration (keys, SHA-1, billing settings) • Quick test plan showing the happy path payment flow and a refund/cancel scenario Acceptance criteria • Payment completes successfully on at least two test cards in Google’s Billing test environment • No new crashes or ANRs in Play Console pre-launch report • Play-Store policy compliance verified (Billing Library 5 or higher, no hard-coded keys) I will provide the current Git repository, a sandbox merchant account, and prompt code reviews so we can move fast.
