Android Employee Database and job searchApp

I want to launch an Android-only application whose heart is a well-structured, searchable employee database. The first release must let employers sign in with either classic email-and-password credentials or one-click social logins (Google, Facebook, etc.), then immediately browse, filter, and bookmark potential hires. Core workflow • Employer opens the app → authenticates (email/password or social) • Lands on the job search Directory → applies filters such as skill set, location, experience, salary range • Taps a profile to view a detailed résumé card with attachments and contact options While a job-search module and separate employer listings are on my roadmap, your current brief is to perfect the employee side: schema design, secure CRUD operations, fast search, and a clean Material-design UI. A lightweight admin panel (web or in-app) for adding and moderating records is essential so I can manage data without touching the codebase. Tech guidance Kotlin is preferred, but well-documented Java is acceptable. For the backend I’m leaning toward Firebase (Auth, Firestore/Realtime DB, Cloud Storage) because of its native Android support, though I’m open to a REST API with MySQL or PostgreSQL if you can demonstrate equal speed and security.
