Android Data Processing & Periodic Tracking

I’m looking for clean, well-structured Android code that can sit inside an existing project and do two things: first, grab the device’s location on a periodic schedule (we’ll fine-tune the exact interval together); second, run that stream through a lightweight data-processing routine before handing it back to me or posting it to an endpoint. The module should work on recent Android versions (API 26+), respect battery-saving rules, and keep running gracefully if the app is backgrounded or the device reboots. Kotlin is my preferred language, but solid Java is acceptable if that fits your style. Please package the deliverable so I can drop it straight into Android Studio: • Fully commented source code • A minimal sample activity/service showing it in action • A short README explaining any permissions, libraries, or Gradle tweaks If you already have ideas on efficient scheduling with WorkManager, fused-location APIs, foreground services, or other best practices, let me know in your proposal.
