This is NOT a technical implementation project. That is, you don't have to create anything or work on anything. Instead, I want you to introduce me to people in your network (past or current clients, employers, co-workers, friends, family, etc.) who are spending at least $15,000 per month on either AWS or Azure hosting services. I represent a service called Kumolus that helps companies monitor and cut cloud expenses. If I can convince your referrals to try my service, I will pay you handsomely.
* You don't need to do anything other than introduce me to people.
* You will be doing a good deed for the people you introduce by helping them save money.
* Cloud hosting costs can be astronomical. In this economy, your referral could save a company from going out of business or helping it avoid layoffs.

The client engagements I will be setting up with your referrals will have two parts:
PART 1: Initial Assessment (also called "Cloud Financial Fitness Assessment")
PART 2: Ongoing Continuous Cloud Spend Monitoring
During the Initial Assessment, your referral gives me limited access to their AWS or Azure accounts so that we can run an analysis to determine how much we can save them. This analysis usually requires about 72 hours to complete. I write up a report that details the findings. I charge $5k for this service. If my findings indicate that I cannot save the company at least 10% of their total cloud spend, I immediately refund the $5k. Generally, I expect to save customers at least 25%. We have always been able to identify at least 20% of savings.
After the Initial Assessment, the customer has the option of signing up for Ongoing Continuous Cloud Spend Monitoring. If the company spends up to $25k/month on AWS or Azure, we charge them 2% of the total monthly amount they spend on AWS or Azure plus $2k/month. If the company spends more than $25k/month, we charge them 2% of their total monthly cloud spend plus $3k/month.
PAYMENTS TO YOU:
If your referral signs up for an initial assessment and the assessment indicates that there is opportunity for at least a 10% savings (a virtual certainty given that we have never had any clients we couldn't save at least 20%), I will pay you $1,000.
If after the Initial Assessment your referral then agrees to sign up for ongoing continuous cloud spend monitoring, I will pay you $1,000/month if they are spending up to $25k/month or $1,500/month if they spend more than $25k month.
All you need to do is introduce me to decision makers at companies who are spending at least $15k/month on Azure or AWS. That's it. If I can convince your contact to sign up for the Initial Assessment, you make $1,000. If they then sign up for Ongoing Continuous Cloud Spend Monitoring, you make either $1,000/month or $1,500/month depending on how much money they are spending on AWS or Azure.
After your introduction, I can deal with the customer directly. Or, if you want to be involved, I am happy to include you.
