Docker Deployment Consultant for AWS & Alibaba

Project Outline: Consulting on Docker Deployment in AWS and Alibaba Cloud for Existing Websites and CMS Overview We are seeking experienced freelancers to act as consultants in deploying and managing Docker containers within our AWS and Alibaba Cloud environments for existing websites and CMS platforms. The primary goals are to optimize deployment, ensure seamless integration, and establish standardized practices across our systems. Additionally, the consultant will collaborate with our team and other vendors, providing guidance and sharing knowledge to facilitate account setup and vendor coordination. Scope of Work 1. Knowledge Sharing and Documentation • Conduct interactive knowledge transfer sessions on Docker deployment and management within AWS and Alibaba Cloud. • Create comprehensive documentation covering setup instructions, best practices, security considerations, and ongoing maintenance for Docker-based applications. 2. Account and Access Setup • Assist in setting up necessary AWS and Alibaba Cloud accounts, ensuring correct permissions and adherence to security protocols. • Provide step-by-step guidance on configuring these accounts for collaboration with external vendors, ensuring access and security requirements align with project needs. 3. Vendor Collaboration and Project Alignment • Coordinate Docker and CMS requirements with external vendors, ensuring compatibility with existing systems. • Act as a technical liaison between our team and vendor teams to resolve any configuration or integration challenges. 4. Ongoing Guidance and Best Practices • Conduct periodic assessments of our Docker implementation, offering optimization recommendations for security, performance, and scalability. • Develop best-practice guidelines to standardize Docker and CMS integrations across current and future projects. Deliverables 1. Documentation • Detailed setup and integration guide for Docker in AWS and Alibaba Cloud environments. • Security and compliance guidelines, especially when working with external vendors. • Step-by-step integration instructions for Docker with the current CMS. 2. Knowledge Transfer Sessions • Minimum of three knowledge-sharing sessions, including introductory Docker basics, cloud-specific configurations, and CMS integration tips. • Provide session recordings and accompanying slide decks for reference. 3. Account and Configuration Checklist • A comprehensive checklist for setting up cloud accounts and managing permissions. • Documentation of access controls, security protocols, and vendor coordination practices. 4. Final Summary Report • A summary document detailing changes made, improvements, and recommendations for future Docker and cloud utilization. The consultant will conduct live online sessions for knowledge transfer. The engagement is expected to last between 3-6 months. The team has a beginner level of experience with Docker and cloud platforms. Optimization of deployment should be considered equally important as other tasks.
