AI Email Drafting Tool Development

Title Microsoft Outlook / Graph API Developer for AI-Assisted Email Drafting Tool Description I am building a private productivity application that integrates with Microsoft 365 and uses modern language models to assist in generating email drafts. I’m looking for an experienced developer who can help design and implement an MVP with the following capabilities: • Authenticate users with Microsoft 365 • Access mail folders via Microsoft Graph • Retrieve email metadata (participants, dates, subjects, thread IDs) within user-defined folders and date ranges • Aggregate communications by contact • Provide structured context to an LLM • Create draft messages and save them to the user’s Outlook Drafts folder • Support insertion of deterministic content blocks (e.g., predefined openers, closings, signatures) The project will start with a focused prototype and may expand. Required • Experience building against Microsoft Graph / Outlook mail • Implemented OAuth authentication for Microsoft 365 • Backend service development (Node or Python) • Experience preparing structured context for LLM-driven generation Nice • Office / Outlook add-in development • Email/thread analysis • Search or embeddings Engagement: Initial Prototype followed by minimum-viable-product scope, with potential for ongoing work.
