FS Short Trial Video

@konradno

A 60-second trial is really a workflow audition, so the key here is nailing your creative direction on the first attempt rather than burning revisions figuring out what you actually want. I can handle this, matching pacing, grade and structure to whatever reference or brief you send alongside the tech list, and keeping the test tight enough that you can judge both speed and quality from a single cut. The trial doubles as a workflow test too, so I'll deliver with organized project files from the start, exactly how the larger project would be handled if we move forward. One quick round of adjustment is included on the trial so a small direction miss doesn't cost you a second full cut. What's the trial video's subject or footage source?

@BarryCrouch

Hey, A 60 second trial is a good way to establish the visual language and production workflow before scaling the project. I’d use the supplied tech list as the creative constraint and focus the first cut on pacing, visual hierarchy, transitions and overall polish so the result gives you a clear indication of how the larger videos would feel. I can produce the trial as a clean, platform-ready edit while keeping the project structure organized for continuation if the direction is approved. I’ll prioritize clarity and timing over unnecessary effects so the trial demonstrates the actual editing quality rather than relying on templates. Could you share the tech list and any reference video that represents the style you want?

If the trial meets your expectations, I’d also be interested in supporting the larger ongoing project with a consistent editing style and workflow. Hi, I’d be happy to take on the trial video. I like the idea of using the first 60-second piece to establish both the creative direction and a workflow that can be carried forward into the larger project. I can work directly from the provided tech list and focus on making the trial feel like a polished representation of the final production style rather than just a basic test edit. I’ll pay attention to pacing, visual hierarchy, transitions, sound design, typography/graphics where appropriate, and overall consistency so we can clearly evaluate what works. I’m also comfortable incorporating feedback during the trial and refining the workflow based on what we learn from the first cut. My goal would be to leave you with not only a finished 60-second video, but a clear editing approach that can be scaled efficiently for the larger project. I can get started as soon as the materials are available and will keep communication straightforward throughout the process.
